What's so good about a small, lightweight bike?

Raffaele De Rosa's Amazing Knee-Riding Save - Watch more Funny Videos
You can't do THIS on a big bike... Raffaele De Rosa is on a 250cc 2-stroker that weighs in at about 220lbs. Way to handle it De Rosa!

He kept the center of gravity low with his big brass balls. Holy cow!

Now imagine if there was a racing series where you had to do that! It'd be like sidecar racing but the poor side rider would have to run all the controls.

Better yet, put some wheels on the shin guards and reduce the bike to a single wheel with a motor inside and handlebars sticking out of the axis. Racing would consist of kneeling on the pavement, grabbing ahold of the gyroscope from hell, and hanging on for dear life!

GenWayLaid, you put the "X" in eXtreme! I'd like to see a sketch of that set up... and know the required balls to body weight ratio.

Yeah, I just realized that any attempt to brake would flip the rider over the top and run them over. In fact, the only safe way to brake may involve leapfrogging the motorwheel first.
